Key Theft

Even if someone has your factory key, IGLA adds another authorisation step before the car can be driven.

Key Cloning

Modern thieves may attempt to clone or program keys. IGLA helps protect against unauthorised start attempts.

OBD Key Programming

On supported vehicles, IGLA can help block OBD-based key programming theft methods.

Carjacking Protection

Optional anti-hijack functions can add another layer of protection during unexpected circumstances.

Why Vehicle Security Matters

Your car is more than just transport.

For many owners, it represents years of work, money, parts, tuning, maintenance, and personal effort. Whether it is a daily driver, weekend car, modified build, or track-focused project, losing the car or dealing with a theft attempt can be stressful and expensive.

A proper anti-theft system is not about making unrealistic promises. No security system can make a vehicle completely theft-proof.

The goal is to reduce risk, add extra layers of protection, and make the vehicle harder to steal compared to relying on factory security alone.

What Is IGLA?

IGLA is a hidden digital immobiliser system designed to help protect vehicles against modern theft methods.

Instead of using a visible keypad, flashing light or obvious switches, IGLA can use the vehicle’s existing factory buttons for PIN-code authorisation. Before the vehicle can be driven, the correct authorisation sequence must be entered.

If authorisation is not completed, the vehicle is prevented from being driven away.

This adds another layer of protection beyond the factory key, helping protect against situations where someone may have access to the key, attempt to clone a key or try to program a new key through the vehicle’s electronics.

The goal is to reduce risk, add extra layers of protection and make the vehicle harder to steal compared to relying on factory security alone.

Why Installation Matters

A security system needs to be installed properly.

The product itself is only one part of the job. The way it is fitted, configured, tested, and handed over matters.

At Haus of 86, installations are completed with care, attention to detail and a focus on discreet fitment. The goal is to keep the system hidden, maintain the vehicle’s normal look and feel, and make sure the owner understands how to use the system correctly.

This includes explaining the authorisation method, service mode, keyfob operation where applicable, GPS/app functionality where applicable, and important operating notes.

We do not rush our installs or take shortcuts. The goal is a proper security setup that is fitted cleanly, tested correctly, and explained clearly before the vehicle leaves.

Frequently asked questions

Is anything visible inside the car?

No. IGLA does not require an obvious keypad or visible switch. Authorisation can be completed using existing factory buttons inside the vehicle.

Does IGLA make my car theft-proof?

IGLA is designed to reduce risk by adding a hidden authorisation layer before the vehicle can be driven.

No security system can guarantee that a vehicle will never be stolen, damaged, or targeted.

Can the car still be stolen if someone has my key?

IGLA is designed to add protection beyond the factory key. Even if someone has access to the key, the vehicle still requires the correct authorisation before it can be driven away.

What happens if I forget my PIN sequence?

You will be shown how to use the system during handover. For security reasons, the full PIN sequence should be stored safely by the owner and not displayed publicly or stored in an insecure location.

Can I add GPS tracking?

Yes. COMPASS GPS can be added to compatible IGLA systems for GPS tracking, app monitoring, push notifications, and supported remote security functions.

Which system should I choose?

IGLA 200 is the recommended starting point if you want a hidden immobiliser to help secure your vehicle.

IGLA 231 adds Bluetooth keyfob authorisation for added convenience, while still retaining PIN-code protection.

IGLA Alarm provides a more complete vehicle protection system by combining traditional alarm-style security with IGLA authorisation, adding another layer of protection before the vehicle can be driven.

COMPASS GPS adds GPS tracking, app monitoring, and supported remote security functions.

KVANT may suit selected older vehicles or vehicles that are not compatible with CANBUS-based IGLA systems.
